F E S T I V E • B I R T H D A Y • It's a bit of a different post from me this year. Unlike previous years where I would post a festive, Christmas themed birthday photo, this year I decided to not worry about creating *content* and instead unplugged. I mean, that's pretty much been the reality of this year for Photographers and other small struggling businesses. Little content and a lot of being still. But I've quite liked it. I've liked making meaningful memories and connections behind this little square on my instagram. Reminding myself of what I'm truly grateful for. Stripping back life to it's simplest form. 2020 has been a time to reflect and focus on the things that matter in reality and although it's been difficult at times, uncomfortable too, it's growth and I'm thankful for it. I'll step into my new year as a 30-Something reminding myself of the lessons 2020 taught me.

O N E • Thats the number of weddings I've photographed this year with most of my couples postponing or booking for next year and beyond. But I remain hopeful for my business, as did Kayleigh & Raj about their wedding day. Circumstances meant they absolutely could not postpone to next year and although very different to what they had imagined (due to the restrictions), it was still beautiful and fun with lots of smiles and happy tears throughout. They managed to tie the knot before lockdown part 2 in the beautiful late summer sunshine.

Experiencing Kayleigh & Raj's wedding has shown me just how beautiful small, intimate ceremonies can be as well as the bigger ones. Whether you have 15 guests or 150 and beyond, I'm here for it all and I can't wait to photograph more small weddings, big weddings, quirky or traditional venues, religious ceremonies, humanist weddings, whatever you decide. It's all LOVE and it's everything I love to photograph.
