Outdoor Wedding at Dunchurch Park Hotel, Warwickshire
I loved being part of this beautiful multicultural outdoor wedding at Dunchurch Park Hotel. I’ve been itching to post about it. Harmeet and Sarah’s wedding was one of my highlights of 2017. Not only were they an awesome couple to get to know, but their outdoor wedding was just so beautiful! I also got to work with my friends over at the Story Cabin who filmed the wedding day. They’re awesome!
While Harmeet got ready at home with his family, Sarah’s morning preparations took place at Dunchurch Park Hotel. Harmeet opted for a tailored Dolce and Gabbana suit to get hitched in. Sarah chose the stunning Haliton wedding dress by Charlie Brear that she purchased from The Wedding Club in Birmingham. Her dress was complimented by gold L.K Bennett shoes. The overall look Sarah went for was a sleek vintage bridal and she looked fabukous!
Sarah is Scottish, so she had a bagpiper perform while guests were being seated. A nice little surprise for all of her family and friends who travelled all the way from Scotland. Sarah walked down the red carpet with her 2 bridesmaids who wore stunning royal blue dresses. Harmeet smiled from ear to ear when he saw his Wife-to-Be walking towards him.
The Couple were announced as Husband and Wife and made their way to the grand sweeping stairs of Dunchurch Park Hotel. This is where we photographed a confetti celebration before they mingled with their guests. After a short breather, I was able to peel Harmeet and Sarah away from their guests for a few portrait photographs.
The sunny August wedding day made for beautiful photographs of the newlyweds. After their couples shoot, their bagpiper helped the couple make their first grand entrance into their wedding reception. This lead straight into hilarious yet emotional speeches by the couple’s best friends. After the speeches, Harmeet and Sarah cut their wedding cake, then took to the dance floor for their first dance. They chose “Dreams” by Gabrielle to celebrate before heading to get changed into their traditional Indian wedding outfits.
Sarah got changed into a pinky coral Indian Bridal Lengha that had antique gold hand embroidery. This outfit weighed a ton due to its detailing. Sarah looked stunning in her Indian bridal outfit with her hair and makeup altered to compliment the look. Harmeet also decided to change into a traditional Indian Groom’s Shirwani. It was ivory in tone with hints of gold and complimented Sarah’s outfit very well. Once they got ready, it was time for their second grand entrance. This time, with traditional Dhol players leading the way. The party started and after a little dance, I took the couple out again for some closing photographs around Dunchurch Park Hotel’s grounds.
It was an absolute pleasure being part of Harmeet and Sarah’s wedding day. Being able to witness two cultures unite and share love makes me so proud that wedding photography is my career and passion. THIS is what inspires my work and THIS is what makes me proud to be British.
Thank you Sarah and Harmeet for choosing me to photograph your wedding day. It was so much fun!

What the Couple Said…
We were lucky enough to have Priya as our photographer in August. Priya did an amazing job – not only was she fantastic on the lead up to the wedding – brilliant on the wedding day – she delivered a first class service even after the event! Having been on hand to answer any query and assist with out every need throughout. We even received some unexpected gifts and beautiful print outs as an added extra – felt like an early Xmas present! We received our photos a short time after the date and most importantly were overjoyed with the result! Also a shout out to her assistant on the day who was great too! Particularly at handling the crowds! Would highly recommend Priya and team xxx”
