asked questions
How long will it take for us to receive our wedding photographs? How many photographs will we get? Can we have a pre-wedding photoshoot? Will you visit my wedding venue beforehand? My wedding is more than 1 and half hours away from you. Can you still cover our special day?
I try to hand over images between 4 to 6 weeks depending on the package and any add-ons you have chosen. I tend to post out a sneak peek on my social media on or after your wedding day to keep you excited.
I don’t limit the amount of images I give to my couples, as everyone’s wedding day is unique. A whole wedding day will vary from between 500-1000 photographs with a choice of up to 50 images for your wedding album.
Yes! Of course! Pre-wedding photoshoots (or engagement sessions) are a little way for me to get to know my couples more personally and also allows my couples to get a feel of how I work. You are also free to use the images to display at your wedding or however you wish to use them personally.
If I have not worked at your venue before, providing it is within 30 minutes away from my business address, I will arrange a venue visit to familiarise myself with the surroundings. If your chosen venue is further away, rest assure I will do all the research I need to beforehand to become familiar with my “shooting” environment.
Of course! I feel incredibly fortunate that my camera allows me to visit some of the most beautiful venues around the country and abroad. Weddings that are more than 1 and half hours away from my location will require an additional charge for travel and accommodation. Unexpected delays can occur whilst travelling to your location, I would prefer to get to your location one day before to ensure I am well rested and prepared for your day without any hiccups. This will also keep your mind at ease that I will be with you for the confirmed times.
Are you insured? How do we book you? What happens once we book you? 1 month before your wedding date is an ideal time to hold your engagement photoshoot session. A couple of weeks before your wedding day is an ideal time to either meet up again to discuss or email across your full breakdown of your wedding day. This itinerary is very useful for me as it helps me plan where I need to be at what times.
Yes, I have a Professional Photographer’s Insurance with a reputable insurance company. My cover includes Professional Indemnity and Public Liability.
If you’d like to book me or generally enquire about my packages, the best would be to email me on info@hellosorriso.com. Email is my love language and I reply within 24 hours of your enquiry. It really helps to give me a brief overview of your wedding day plans, such as dates, locations, approx.. number of guests. You can also give me a call on 07516 224 888. Please note: if I’m unable to answer leave me a message with your details and a brief overview and I can get back to you as soon as possible. I recommend a meet up with my couples to better explain my services and packages. This is also an opportunity for you to ask me any questions, look through my online galleries and have a look over my sample albums.
To confirm your booking I take a £250 non-refundable security deposit. This ensures that nobody else can book me for your wedding date. You are then required to complete your payment between the booking date and a minimum of 4 weeks before your wedding date. I like to keep in touch with my couples throughout there planning process. In the past, Bride’s have sent me photographs of their shoes, dresses, and inspiration boards on pinterest! Grooms have emailed or called me on the quiet to let me know what surprises they have in store for their beautiful wives to be! This also allows me to not only be prepared for any surprises, but also share any tips, advice and contacts with my couples if they are struggling to find certain suppliers.
This leaves me plenty of time to edit your chosen photographs and get them back to you. I love seeing your engagement photoshoot pictures on your wedding day. Many couples like to frame a large main image for their guestbook table, or have some scrolling on projector screens at the wedding reception.
