Want a luxury feel on a budget? Here’s 5 wedding shoes under £50 to inspire you.
And so it begins! They’ve popped the question, you’re a well-established member of the #justengaged club and you’re frantically creating boards on Pinterest to try and piece together ideas for your perfect wedding day. Of course your dream wedding dress wouldn’t be complete without the perfect designer wedding shoes to walk down the aisle in. You’ve got your spreadsheet at the ready with a budget breakdown and then BAM! Those royal blue, satin “Hangisi” Manolo Blahnik shoes that Carrie Bradshaw inspired you to buy in THAT Sex and the City episode are way out of your budget.
Queue the heart break and sinking feeling at the realisation that you may not be able to afford your dream wedding shoes. You’re torn by the guilt of spending so much on brand named shoes and wanting the most prettiest, iconic feet at the celebration of a lifetime. It is YOUR wedding day after all. Let’s face it, we aren’t all fortunate enough to be able to afford such luxuries, but there are ways around it. This post however, isn’t about how to budget for designer shoes, but instead looking at what is available on our high-street for alternatives. What a way to kick start my new blog with talking about shoes! A topic I love! Believe me there are so many beautiful wedding day worthy bridal shoes available on our very own high-street. Some almost resembling those designer shoes you long for.
Here are my top picks of budget wedding shoes but of course, there are so many others available if you search in the right places. It’s important to note that these “wedding shoes” are for inspiration and may become out of stock by the time I post this or by the time you read this… oops! I’ll try and be quicker next time.
